Here it is Wanderlusters
My ‘The Small Print’ page used to be pretty, well, small. Over time I’ve added various policies for various reasons but mostly just to help you understand what I do better. Since there’s a lot to cover, I’ve created some hyperlinks to help you navigate between topics. If anything isn’t clear, please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org.
This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. I created Wanderlust and Wet Wipes to be an honest and open blog and therefore I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity.
I abide by word of mouth marketing standards. This blog does contain content which could present a conflict of interest. My blog has previously but does not currently accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. In the past I may have been compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Since the compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog, I always clearly identify any paid or sponsored content, advertising space or post.
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. These are links to products or services that I highly recommend and am an affiliate for. If you click on one of these links and decide to purchase the service(s) or product(s), I will receive a small commission of the sale. This is at no extra cost to you and will, most likely, be funnelled straight back to more travel experiences that I can share with you! I always clearly identify any posts with these links in with words such as “this post contains affiliate links”.
The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Even though I may receive compensation for my posts or advertisements, I will always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

What are cookies?
A small text file (up to 4KB) created by a website that is stored in your computer either temporarily for that session only or permanently on the hard disk (persistent cookie). Cookies provide a way for the website to recognise you and keep track of your preferences. (Thanks to PC Mag for the definition).
Some cookies are essential for me to run my site. These are considered lawful under European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). I don’t need your consent to use these cookies but I ask you anyway. The thing is, my site may not work for you if you don’t agree to let me use those cookies at a minimum.
Other cookies are optional. They may be helpful to you – I’m thinking of cookies that remember what you put in your shopping cart last week for example. Or they may be helpful to me – for example I have cookies tracking traffic to my site so I can see what posts are popular, etc. This helps me develop more relevant content for my readers in the future.
I don’t have third parties advertising on my site however, I do provide links from time to time to other sites that I think you might find helpful. Once you leave my site I have no control over what cookies those third party sites use.
Cookies are, in general, designed for a better experience for you. They do, however, contain information about you which you may or may not be comfortable being online. You may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser
How to Delete Cookies
The best way to delete cookies You can delete cookies from your browser in a relatively straightforward manner. If you don’t know how to do this, check out the About Cookies website for clear, step-by-step directions.
