Work With Me

If you want to work with me you might want to know a little bit more about me and what I do…

Who am I?

I am Emma, a self confessed travel addict. I caught the travel bug early on in life – I had lived on 3 continents by the time I was 10 (UK, US and Australia) and that was just the start of it! I’m now 2 gap years, a work secondment, a marriage to a fellow travel addict, 3 expat assignments, 2 travel mad kids, an international dog and countless unforgettable holidays later….

Since becoming a mum and a “trailing spouse” (still looking for a better label for that) I’ve been searching for something to regain my identity. Added complications were that it needed to accommodate both the restrictions of the school day and the transient nature of our expat life. When I think about it, doing some sort of work with travel makes perfect sense for me and I’m kicking myself for not finding the blog sooner!

After a life changing holiday in Bali in 2016, I started Wanderlust and Wet Wipes to empower families to take holidays that they might think are beyond their reach. I show people that balanced but adventurous holidays can inspire their families and show their kids the world.

You can read more about me on my About Me page, in my first blog post or in the story of my blogging journey.

Where can you find me?

I’m currently living in Singapore but, as we know, location these days is such a flexible concept! I currently work with publications in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Blog

I post new content on my blog once or twice a month. I write about a variety of topics within the family travel and expat life areas. My posts are written to be authentic. They reflect the reality of a situation as well as the best bits. My nature is to show the positive side of life but I won’t gloss over the bits that… well, could have been better (like Tantrums in the Maldives!). I have a number of regular features on the blog including Top Tips, Destinations and Expat Life.

Social Media

I am active on social media channels every day. You can find me most often on FacebookInstagram and Twitter where I have been growing my following steadily focussing on engagement and relationships with my readers.

What can I do for you?

Publications

First and foremost is my interest in writing. From posting regularly to taking a travel writing course. If you would like to talk to me about writing for you I would love you to get in touch.

Bloggers

I accept a limited number of guest posts on the blog provided that they add value to my readers and fit with my niche. Please contact me if you think you fit this criteria. Alternatively I regularly guest post for other bloggers and websites. If you would like me to guest post for you please let me know so we can start a discussion!

Brands

I have worked with a few select brands who I believe fit with the vision and ethos of my blog. I believe that building long term relationships is the best way to benefit all parties so I deliberately limit the number of brands I work with to maximise the impact I can have with those brands and to ensure my readers don’t get sponsored content fatigue.

I would love to hear from you and find out how you would like to work together. I don’t accept sponsored posts or advertising in any form but if you have a brand or product that we both think would benefit my readers I’d be happy to discuss how we can package it for them (for example a special offer or long term discount).

If you’re looking for something a bit different, I’d be happy to discuss your individual requirements with you in person. Doing things that are little bit quirky or new is right up my street!
